Destroy the Icon- original

 One of the most commonly known pop icons from my childhood is without a doubt Britney Spears. Since her ongoing legal battle with her father has come into mainstream media, it felt appropriate to create a piece that revolves around her fame. Ideally, I wanted to draw inspiration from this red carpet photo of her and Justin Timberlake in all denim. Unfortunately, I was unable to find a copy of the image that was the correct dpi for our project and I had no idea where I could find a physical copy to scan. So instead, I found an equally iconic photo from her 2001 performance of "I'm A Slave 4 U" with a snake on her shoulders. I'm not sure exactly what I want to do to "destroy" this image but I'm really excited to get into this project!
