final project plan
As of now, I plan to make a gif for my final digital piece. Again, I'm not solid on what the imagery will be but I want to utilize moving text and texture. The final gif will be projected onto (ideally) a red curtain so as to distort the clarity of the images. I want this piece to vaguely resemble my interpretation of faith and spirituality although the specifics will have to be fleshed out later as I continue to think about how that relates to me.
Hi Avery! I'm already excited knowing you're leaning towards making a gif. I think they're so fun and almost interactive. It's so nice you're already envisioning the end product and how you will display it. Love the idea of projecting it onto a current. Apart from the red color distorting the gif, is the color red significant to your concept? Either way it sounds awesome I was just curious. :) I'm looking forward to seeing your progress! I really enjoy your idea of projecting this onto red for distortion, as it parallels well with conveying personal narratives of such a delicate topic. I'm looking forward to seeing how you document the projection, as well.
ReplyDeleteI think your idea is really great! I think the idea of the red curtain is really interesting and a neat way of distorting an image off of the computer. It also has some really interesting potential in terms of your concept. I look forward to seeing how you develop your idea!
